I did. I'll be 36 in 2 months. Started watching in '86. Bird and Magic were in their primes and Jordan was in the early stages of his career.

I saw them in their prime... I started watching in 93 but I was only 7 years old. Pretty damn glad I grew up to see that. Loved Jordan

Jordan was past his prime at that point. His athletic and statistical peak was around '88 and '89. His overall peak(athleticism/ball IQ/maturity) was during the first 3-peat.

I did, will turn 40 this year.

Anyone of them, as the center piece of a team today would probably walk through the competition today. There's no one in today's game, at their positions that could stand with any one of them.

they were just from a different era of men/competitors.

I saw all of them but only caught the very tail end of Barkley's prime. I was also too young to truly appreciate them and didn't have close to the same understanding of the game.

Seriously? No one from 3( MJs first title in 91) to 10 ( his last title in 98) is going to have any appreciation for what they're seeing oncourt. I was 14 for his first title and just starting to really appreciate the nuances because I was playing jr. high school ball by that point.

mid-90s here, so I guess I never really saw them in their full primes, but they were all still top players(especially MJ & Malone) when I started watching.

You're a f'in amazing. Are you a rocket scientist? This is some advanced math.

Joking aside ....

I remember in high school watching the 96 or 97 finals and realizing I would probably never see such a great, dominant force like the one I was seeing on TV.

Bulls vs. Jazz .. legendary stuff. Stockton and Malone were fantastic players but they came up against the perfect storm in Jordan and Pippen.

Celtics ... Larry Bird talked so much shit it's the stuff of legend and he backed it up with ice in his veins.

I feel old now :(

Shits rough now haha. I haven't been able to ball for about 8 years because of back problems. I'm a competitive runner and do yoga. Four months ago my arthritis flared up and it's not going away. I can't run can't do yoga, nothing. I can't even stand upright. This is not the 42nd b day I was hoping for haha.

Nice to see that there's plenty of old heads lurking around.

Been watching the playoffs religiously since 1991 west conference finals when magic rolled the ball into the backcourt to bleed out the clock :oldlol:

I did. Started watching the NBA in 1985.
 Me too, I watched sporadically as early as 83-84 (kinda remember those 76ers/Celtics games) but really paid attention in the mid 80s, the first Finals I watched every game of was Bird Celtics vs Hakeem/Sampson Rockets. I feel so lucky to have seen those 80s Lakers/Celtics wars, Bad Boys Pistons/Celtics and then Bulls classics, Lakers/Drexler Blazers and so on. THAT was basketball:bowdown:

Feel bad for the youngsters today that missed those basketball gods going at it:(

You ain't lyin', bruh. I haven't balled in quite a few years. I know my shit won't hold up unless I dedicate myself to getting in the best shape a 41 year old dude can, and even then I know I won't be dunking anymore unless I'm playing on an 8-9 ft. rim. :oldlol:
