View Full Version : Durant about to go on one of the all-time great playoff runs.

He had an all-time great season, I believe he will carry this over to the playoffs. Dude is just too legit as a scorer, I can easily see him going 33/8/5 all the way through the Finals. Watching him was by far the most exciting thing about this season. What say you?

He already did in 2012.

This year..... wow....... KD/Westbrook are going to be absolutely scary.

2nd round vs. the Clippers is when people will start putting KD in the GOAT conversation.

The world has no idea.

I just wish he would have gotten more rest down the stretch of the season. Hopefully OKC can sweep the Grizz and the Clippers/Warriors series goes 7 games.

He'd better. He'll be crucified if he has another Memphis-like series.

Yep. Only the best players of all time are expected to win a championship. Since Durant hasn't proven himself to be the best player in the league, none of the experts are favoring him to win despite his stacked team.

Yup, being favored to win is the true mark of a legend.

We need to start tracking that stat so we can use it for a players end of career HOF resume. Norris Cole be making a HOF push. :oldlol:

Those expert picks are a slap in the face to Durant and the Thunder...I'm shocked at that.

Either those guys know something we don't...or they are giving Durant very little respect.

Sorry nobody has faith in your boy Durant, despite him having a stacked team... not even you have faith in him. Already making excuses for when Miami wins the chip. At least the true Thunder fan, Budadiii, straight up said "Ring or bust" this year for the thunder.

Hell ESPN doesn't even believe they can get past the Spurs despite beating them 4-0 in the season.

Wait... someone really picked the Nets?

Lebron > Durant

Why do you think OKC fans are too scared to claim this is a ring or bust year for Durant? They fear Wade and Bosh? :oldlol:

This. I actually have both Oklahoma City and San Antonio with slightly better odds than the Heat of making it this year (partly because the odds are stacked against a team going on 4 straight Finals trips AND 3peating, and the Heat haven't really impressed enough this year to suggest they could beat those odds). And if you break down the odds by conference, the West has a better shot of winning the title than the East, with 3 (to possibly 5?) legit contenders.

Not many gave us a shot when we lost K mart and Westbrook was predicted to miss the start of the season.

Those expert picks are shocking just for lack of respect for the West. How could anyone put the Pacers, Nets, Bulls on there when OKC, Spurs, and Clippers all have better records than anyone in the East and are stacked. Miami you would expect ppl to pick as the previous champs, but they're playing terrible...
