View Full Version : Durant can lead a team without Westbrook, Lebron can't without Wade.

This is actually pretty interesting to think about. Durant had the single best stretch of his career in January-February when Brook was injured and the Thunder got to the top of the western conference.

Lebron has not had the same success without Wade, and even with another all-star in Bosh, he has not shown he can run a game as well as Durant can.

And people say Durant isn't as good of a team player...smh. Durant has proven he is a very able play maker this season, and he's done in it with a much harder schedule and no other all-stars.

KD has been more dominant in the regular season, but he's had no success without Westbrook in the Playoffs.

Durant is a 35/10/8 34 PER type guy without Westbrook.

It's interesting that both guys are actually better off without each other, but still the best duo in the league. It's weird

Bosh is an All Star based on nothing more than name recognition. Anyone who watched tonights game could see that. If Bosh's jump shot isn't falling he is completely useless. Durant has a younger and more talented supporting cast than Bron does.

He only went to one finals with Brook and lost. Wade & Lebron on their first finals lost to.

What did he lead them too? A sweep against the spurs?

his performances against the pistons are amazing, if you can't admit that you are a flat out hater.

Lebron made the Finals without Wade though back in his Cleveland days, Wade won a Finals MVP, though he did have Shaq, who wasn't exactly in his prime anymore.

KD without Westbrook lost 4 games in a row, where he choked in the 4th quarter/OT against Memphis.

Memphis embarrassed KD, the same Memphis that got swept by the spurs. So I don't really see how he did "quite a lot".
Magic lived and died by the 3 in their 09 run, if you can't agree with that you probably didn't watch it. Lebron's individual ECF performance >>>Kobe's individual finals performance, the difference in result comes in supporting casts. Never forget that boy.
With this being said I'd expect KD to perform better in these playoffs than last year if Westbrook were to not play for whatever reason.
What did Kareem ever do to have his name negatively associated with such a shithouse poster??

I never wanted to disregard team success in any way, but if I must really name a one-man team that went deep into the playoffs in recent memories, IMHO it's only LeBron's Cavs. No other superstars did it like LeBron did. Though it's easier to do so in the east, still impressive nonetheless.

What? He got owned by the Grizz without Westbrook. WTF are you talking about? He literally choked in the 4th quarter in pretty much every game

it's not KD's fault Scott Brooks is a retard and continued to bring Kevin Martin off the bench after Westbrook went down.

Cleveland all over again :oldlol: People getting their excuses in place. Bran chose his team and no matter how **** you think his team mates are, the heat are still the top of the (pathetic) east. Bran does not get credit for every one of their wins :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

Keep pushing the agenda though

This is the only season where the Heat were worse when Wade was out. You just ignored last year and the year before and the year before to support an agenda.

Durant didnt do shit without Westbrook in the playoffs either.

If Durant doesn't receive the same calls during the playoffs that he is receiving now, OKC has a great chance of being beaten.

1. Lebron last year without Wade was about 15-1, and withoutwade# became a running joke on twitter

2. Lebron in 2012 lead Miami past the Pacers in round 2 and the Celtics in round 3 with Bosh injured.

3. Durant without Westbrook in the playoffs last year looked lost

4. I don't think I've ever read a post that is so incorrect. Maybe you were talking specifically about this year though. But if you were, you should have still at least mentioned that things were the complete opposite in the past few seasons before making your statements.
