Dude is about to run the league. I know everyone always says this, but he is already a superstar. I can't wait for Nola to be good again or him to find a legit team so he can be seen in the spotlight a bit more. He is a 20/10+ every single night with 3 blocks and already one of the best defenders the league. Also, he could become the first American to retire with 4 gold medals (2012, 2016, 2020, and in 2024 he would still only be 31).

You just get the feeling that his ceiling is pretty limitless. Put in the right situations, he could seriously retire a top 15 player of all time.

Nope. Not a superstar.

Also, 12-13 years from now, he would be 33-34. Dunno if he'll be a top 5 player then. I did overrate him a bit previously, but he's still a top 10 player in the league. Not a superstar though.

He will be the best once LeBron starts getting older

He is not a superstar yet, but he is certainly going to be an incredible player for a long time barring injuries.

12-13 years? Try 2-3 years.

He certainly has the tools to become top 3, all he needs is a favorable situation.

He had enough injury issues already to make me think he will be healthy enough to be top 5 for 12-13 years. However, I do think he will be top 5 for a majority of those years.

He will be a superstar in the next 2 years i think. IF he can bulk up like Howard did when he came to the league, hel be another Howard with a better offensive game.

If they can get a dominant PG to play with him them the sky is the limit, imagine how good the Clippers would be with him instead of Blake Griffin.

He'll break the single season PER record next season

Doesnt he have to be a top 5 player first before you can make this thread?

He is not even a top 15 player right now. I like him but he does not know how to use his body, and puts himself out of position alot on defense. By all means he's a wildcard blocker and not close to a rim protector yet. And offensively, he is so talented but he has no clue how to impose his will and usage rate is beyond low. But he will figure these things out and when he does it'll be scary. He has 3-5 and then he'll reach full potential.

Who else is putting up 20/10 with 3 blocks?

Those stats are deceiving, he could be having much bigger impacts on games. He is still a great talent, but he doesn't have the right mentality. Tim Duncan is having substantially better impacts on games putting up worse stat lines than that.

It's not hard to look at , compare Blake Griffin now, to himself in 2012, statistically speaking, he got marginally better, but now he's imposing his will and everybody sees the difference.

Impose his will? he never gets the ball. when he gets the ball he can takeover games. See the lakers game earlier in the season and Boston recently.

Dude, I don't think you realize how much Brian Roberts and Eric Gordon ISO at the end of games.
