Midrange? Its not close. Bosh shoots in the high 40's from their, Aldridge in the low 40's. Its clear cut Bosh.
Better defender? Its not close again. Bosh is more mobile, puts up better defensive stats, and defends the pick and roll better than any big in the league.
Far more clutch? Based on what? Bosh has hit numerous clutch shots and closed out teams, like Portland for example with a gamewinner... Not to mention rebounding in game 6... I don't think Aldridge has the resume to match Bosh's big moments.

I think he only plays around 30 minutes a night, and a lot of the time becuase of the heats defensive scheme he is a bit further away from the basket than most bigs. Still though he isnt really a good rebounder.

He plays 31.4, but his per36 is only 7.8. A top 5 power forward just can not gobble up that little rebounds without an elite boarder next to him.

7 boards in 31 isn't atrocious, but considering that the he's #2 with the leader being just ahead and #3 being a couple of rebounds back shows a lack of crashing the boards.

And add any of those guys to the Heat, and they are a much tougher side to beat. Davis covers the biggest weakness that Miami has, with a solid defensive big and rebounding. Blake isn't a great defender but his rebounding would definitely be a plus (nearly 10 a game, sharing the court with DJ who is grabbing around 14). Dirk and Aldridge are pretty similar, but Aldridge has earned getting the nod with his improvement on the boards (though he is ridiculously overrated now. A PF taking 21 shots to score 24 is nasty). Dirk is efficient as well.

Blake is 3rd in MVP voting right now so technically he would be the best PF in the league.

Some players however have more skills then Blake e.g. LMA, CB, Dirk, KL.

Blake at the moment is a good spot up shooter/triple threat shooter but he does not have the skill set of the above to shoot off the dribble with great accuracy as well. If he did...we will be looking at a split between LBJ, KD, BG.

I think Blake is still a bit mechanical at the moment and needs to 'loosen' up a bit. He seems to try to 'go into moves' rather then play ball as an art with flow and rhythm.

Anthony Davis is the best defender at the power forward position, the best rim protector and the most efficient after blake.
the difference in offense between blake love and AD IS too significant to ignore and that difference doesnt supersede the difference in offense between the two which isnt that big.

I didn't know that Davis is so overrated.

New Orleans' record is 18-22 when Davis plays more than 10 minutes.
It is 4-5 against tough opponents when Davis played less than 11 minutes.

The team would have a better record with Aldridge, Dirk, Love or Griffin. People just assume that Davis always makes the right decisions on defense just because he is athletic and has high steal and block numbers. On offense he doesn't make it much easier for his teammates which the other 4 PFs certainly do. I would take Ryan Anderson over him on offense.

He has the potential to be the best PF in the future, but right now he isn't in the top 4. At least the coaches seem to agree with me in the all-star voting.

Blake in the last four, 35.0/11.3/4.0 with only 1.8 turnovers in 35.9 minutes on 23 shots per night (55.4%). 23.9/9.8/3.5 with 1.2 steals/0.6 blocks to 2.7 turnovers on 16.7 shots (53.3%) in 36.2 minutes. All of this while playing with Jordan grabbing 14 per night to lead the league. But he isn't top 3 huh.
