No rings, no MVPs, no first team all NBAs. His greatest achievement? a 62 point game...all in vain.

I'm not a huge Carmelo Anthony fan, but I thought the run he and his team made in the 2009 playoffs was pretty great and entertaining. I recall this game-winner against Dallas pretty well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZsEPWbvDLI

Well, unless he get this team to the playoffs it won't be in vain.

:confusedshrug:

Not that the Knicks would go anywhere, but getting this type of a team to the playoffs is an achievement in itself.

I ain't gonna lie, but having a this top 4 draft class (especially this class) all on the same team...would be pretty sick!

NCAA, Gold Medal, Scoring Championship, 62 point game.

ClutchOver9000
01-25-2014, 08:59 PM
NCAA Champion
2x Olympic Gold Medalist
2013 Scoring Champion
7x NBA All-Star
6x All-NBA
Most pts scored in a single quarter in NBA history with 33 (tied w/ Gervin)
Most pts scored in MSG history (modern) with 62
Most consecutive pts scored in a game in NBA history with 26
Most pts scored in a single game in U.S Olympic history with 37

And he should've won NBA ROY but as we all know, LeBron got the nod.

All in all a pretty solid resume. And he's still in his prime so he has plenty of time left to accomplish much more considering his ability isn't based off athleticism but on on a varied and refined skillset.
