He could work on the Suns seeing as he's a better player in everything but shooting than Dragic.

fellow lakers fans, will you trade lakers 1st round pick for rondo?

Not even, we have a gazillion draft picks going forward and we're on track on getting a top 5 this year. Rondo is a great cornerstone to have but I don't think trading him will set us back by more than a few years

A newspaper in the city that reported that Knicks expect Rondo to force a trade to their franchise...reports that Rondo is on the trading block.

I totally believe that.

Rondo's contract will finish after the 2015 season

So, the celtics have no choice to traded him if Rondo is not interrested to stay

He had a solid debut this season. 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 rebounds against the Lakers.

Suns won't trade Goran Dragic. He's healthier, and Dragic is having a great season.

Rondo is a known commodity more so than the future pieces. I mean part of me wants young dynamic future stud players but then the part of me is reminded of where stars like Love and Irving have not been able to win yet in this league. I think we can say Rondo is a winner in this league and that is a skill that is not easily replaceable.

The young pieces that we get for Rondo are going to grow up in a culture of losing and it is possible that by the time that they start to get real good they end up leaving for better situations.

With rondo lakers have no cap space for melo

How about

Rondo 11mil
Kobe 23 mil
Lance stephenson 10mil
Deng 10 mil
Embiid 4mil

Farmar, X, young, wes johnson, sacre

But seriously dont know how lakers cant get rondo ?? I m willing to give up pau, J Hill, meeks, kaman, blake & get soame picks for boston

Lakers can't trade their first

Phoenix already has 2 great young guards, maybe Denver for Lawson and Faried

I don't think so. The NBA/Adam Silver is going to reward them with a lottery pick this year.

They are one of the worst teams in the league. The way the lottery works is the worst teams have a higher chance of getting the lower pick. Why do the Celtics need to be "rewarded" with what they will have a huge pct chance of getting anyway?

Why are people so stupid?

Deng isn't taking 10 million a season. He just turned that down from Chicago. He's going to be getting somewhere in the neighborhood of 12-15.

Hey remember when all those reports came out about them moving him over summer? And those reports about moving him before he came back from injury? Stop believing everything you read.

They wont trade him/ He's the franchise player now.

New York media just stirring shit up in Boston, as usual.

Every season, the Celtics are moments away from trading a huge something according to them.

Basically...if I don't see Woj attached to it, I don't consider believing it.

He's young why would they do that?

salwan
01-19-2014, 01:55 PM
I'm not even convinced that it makes sense to trade him.

draft well, let the young guys develope, wait until the bad contracts (wallace) expire or get rid of them.. keep rondo, sully, olynyk, bradley and maybe green and pick up a star free agent along the way.

they could be back as early as in two-three years

No clue why Celts would trade a young all-star on good contract.

Nice source that only states that other GMs expect a trade. Nothing to see here, move on.
