So 15 minutes ago. Anyways, the Taylor for draft pick move is good but Toko for Teague? Pointless, might as well have kept Toko.

Hed be a great backup for DWill. That nikkas one of the quickets players in the game and he can get his teammates better shots than they been get with his dribble penetration

Taylor is lighting quick too. The problem was that his body moved faster than his brain thus leading to a lot of dumb turnovers and shots.

As long as Alan and Terry dont have to play back up PG no more.

Feel like Taylor could do if not better than Teague but oh well, Nets now have an open spot, are they going for Bynum?

This is a move before the big move. Nets needed this trade to free up a roster spot to use their new DPE. They might use this DPE on Noah. Haven't heard anything but knowing Billy he made this move for a big reason.

Whoever gave up a Draft pick for Tyshawn Taylor should immediately be fired.

Explain how? Noah's salary is bigger than the dpe plus what trade assets do you have?

2nd rounder and considering how well New Orleans develops PG's Taylor could thrive

Nets save $2.5MM in luxury this year by doing this deal. This could have been just a money saver deal or just give Billy a chance to use the DPE. I don't know if he is going to use the DPE but at least now he has given himself the chance of doing so. Because I don't think this move was done just to save $2.5 million.

This is going to be a pick in the 45-60 range. Not something to raise your eyebrow for.

I didn't mean that the Nets can use their DPE for Noah. That was a mistake. I know the DPE can only be used for players being paid less than $5MM this year. I like our team much better like this though. Having Pierce at the four has made us so good. A center would shift everything down and not be good for us. I'd like to keep this roster as is and make a playoff run like this.

niko

The DPE is $6m and can be used for 1 player, for 1 year with no bird rights or trade for a player in last year again with no bird rights. It can't be added to other trades.

Explain how you get Noah in any scenario. Enlighten me.

that DPE looks like the same amount as the money Bynum lost from being waived

Forgot about the other Teague but couldn't believe Atl would help Brooklyn when the Nets pick belongs to them first.
