I'm on a phone, but source via libertyballers.com (check roto)

What's his value? Other than HOU, who has rumored interest, who else would want him? What would they give up? What team would get most value out of him, and will he start or come off the bench?

i'd love to have him in denver

might even be willing to part ways with faried for him. but it's not up to me

Being from Philly and getting to see him play full games on a regular basis, it would be an unwise move from your management to give Faried up unless there were multiple other pieces moving as well.

There were rumblings of us being in Asik talks with Houston; hopefully this isn't true because I'm buying 100% into the 'rebuilding' plan we have in place- but now seeing that Houston is rumored to be interested, this may be one of the pieces to a bigger deal.

how is his defense? it's been pretty impressive the times i've seen him

problem in denver is having mcgee, faried and hickson while trying to play defense. i'd rather trade the other two, but they have close to no value

His defense is on a need-to-be basis: if it's a big matchup, he'll really expend his energy on containing the opposing player and have probably a quieter night offensively. If it's against a lower-profile guy though he might coast on D and have a few slip-ups or stupid fouls. Inconsistent but great when he brings it.

I'd do Faired, Dre and Hamilton -4- Wroten and Young

not sure how high Philly fans are on Wroten, but they dont have anything else to sweaten the deal. I like Moultrie, but our front line is stacked

and no way we would give up any future 1sts

Wherever he goes, that team will be getting a solid and classy player

He can come to the Hawks for Louis Williams and Pero Antic.

:lol

The Sixers are in tank mode.
Williams is a solid reserve, but the Sixers would move him out again for an expirer (although he only has one year left on his deal anyway).
Antic is a decent reserve.

Players like Faried simply help the Sixers win and get them further away from a top pick.

But of course the Nuggets have the Knicks overall pick and you may have ulterior motives.

Faried doesnt help the Sixers win. And your trade proposal is shit as usual. Shut up.

Warriors need some scoring of the bench too bad we have nothing to offer.

Thad for Curry and your 1st round pick. We'll sleep on it.

If the Sixers want some expirings and a 2016 first round pick, I think the Pelicans might be interested.

If you want the Sixers to lose, then it's a great one.

This is just like Toronto - fans say they want the team to tank, but they don't want to give up talent. Well, if you have talent, then you are going to win games.

To tank or not to tank - that is the question.

Sixers are 7-19. Thaddeus Young is so frustrated with losing he requested a trade. I think the Sixers are doing just fine losing with the roster they have.

But like you said if you have talent you will win games. 2-15 since losing to your Hawks. Oh boy, that is one too many wins in that 17 game span. To tank or not to tank is definitely the question here.

What they could do is send him to another team in their division to make that team better. By making them stronger, the Sixers will more easily lose to that team, which in turn, alliws them to tank harder.

I think Miami has a decent enough starting SF.

And and and one time at band camp...

What are you 12? How can you tank harder when you are 7-19. :oldlol:

Thad is a PF. But they have a better PF as well so.

Miami doesn't need Thad. A team like OKC does.

What's his contract like?

I like Lamb, but I'd be ok if we were to move him for somebody of Thadds caliber. I think he'd fit perfectly, especially if/when we run small ball.

Lamb, Dallas pick, Perks contract :oldlol: for Young and Wroten

7-19 for Philadelphia.
5-20 for Milwaukee.

It's supposed to suck.
But on a more serious note, the Sixers get Williams and then swap him out so they save around 8 million next season in cap space to make a run at an A level free agent.

What's his contract like?

9.12 million.

Not a bad deal, but no one wants to have their cap space taken. That's a real problem with guys like him and Asik.

That's the last ten years:

1st overall came from: the worst record (twice), 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th (twice), 6th (twice), and the 9th worst overall record.

Top 6 worst records and the correlation with their pick (lottery obvious only decides the top 3 picks, so the lowest the worst can get is 4, 2nd worst is 5, and so on):
Worst - 1, 2, 4, 4, 2, 4, 3, 2, 2, 4. = 2.8 average; 6 times "won" the lottery.

2nd - 3, 4, 2, 5, 4, 5, 4, 1, 3, 4 = 3.5 average; 4 times "won" the lottery.

3rd - 5, 5, 3, 6, 3, 1, 5, 5, 4, 1 = 3.8 average; 4 times "won" the lottery.

4th - 2, 6, 5, 3, 5, 3, 6, 6, 1, 5 = 4.2 average; 4 times "won" the lottery.

5th - 6, 3, 1, 2, 6, 6, 1, 7, 5, 6 = 4.3 average; 4 times "won" the lottery.

6th - 7, 1, 6, 1, 7, 2, 2, 3, 6, 7 = 4.2 average; 5 times "won" the lottery.

No point to this. Was curious (inspired by the tanking discussion) and looked it up.

Seems like Thad is more comfortable as a 4 than a 3. His lack of range on his jumper makes him a liability on the perimeter.

Otherwise, I'd be all for the Cavs taking a shot at him.
