I'm glad for this. Sounds like he can come back at probably 100%. Didn't know Wade had the same injury.

While it seems very promising, Rose did not have that new procedure.
The guy in the video even said he was still going to present it to other doctors at a conference. So you should expect the normal timetable for this type of surgery.

Maybe he should join 2 other stars so they can share the pressure, and exert less pressure on his knees

and circle jerk each other during timeouts and post game interviews

Ive had a meniscus repair, it shouldn't keep him out for the season.

How old was Arenas when that happened though? Isn't Rose like 23 or something like that?

True, but if you're the Bulls think about it from their point of view.

If he comes back, they're probably not going to contend in the playoffs. Because he won't be in game shape. So why not do what they should've done last year and just called him out of the season instead of saying "He's medically cleared to play."

Plus if they simply call him out for the season, the insurance will cover his contract and the Bulls say $20 million.

I think people are writing him off way too soon. You can come back from a meniscus repair without a big drop off in play.. and though he performed poorly for that month, I didn't think his athleticism looked that bad.

I don't like the false hope that is given to the Bulls fans, but I am sure Adidas have a finger in this.

it's not a bad injury. Tons of athletes have come back from this type of injury with no adverse effect...

He'll be fine

it's not the torn meniscus

it's the fact that he tore it right after the acl tear. he worked to get back from rehab from the acl tear and built it up again only to get injured again. not only will it affect rose's aggressiveness, do you really think he'll truly ever be the same again? missing 2 years of basketball at the highest level isn't easy. injuring both knees is even worse. at what point do you just say "enough" and just retire/give up?
