Guys in rookie contracts.
Leonard, Klay, Parsons, Paul George just to name a few.

Well rookies are the prime example because they are subjected to the rookie pay scale.

What about players not in their first contract?

I'd say this and Rondo. Assuming they can both stay healthy. Both signed extensions just before blowing up to max level play.

Parsons isn't a rookie deal, is it? I thought only first round picks are subject to rookie contracts. Not only was Parsons not a first round pick, he went to Europe after he was drafted and then came back.

Might be wrong. NBA salaries and the rules aren't my strongest suit.

Honestly tho, LeBron.

He was one of the guys that played overseas due to the lockout and when the NBA returned they did as well.

Pretty sure his salary atm is less than a mil a year.

DeJuan Blair for the min. He has been the back up C for the Mavs so far, and he's been a bit of a game changer off the bench.

Devin Harris could be a bargain for the vet min if he comes back looking good from his injury

Agreeing my nigg'a. Since he is a second round pick the rules are like any other free agent.

How much does Blatche make?
Like $1.5 million from the Nets, but that's only cause the Wizards are still paying him $8 million a year for amnestying him.

I can't really speak much about other teams. As far as Blazers go I'm pretty sure Wesley Matthews was signed to a 5 year 35 million dollar deal. He got a ton of money up front. He be making only 4-5 million a season at this point.

Nah, JimmyMcAdocious is thinking of Patrick Beverley, who played in the Greek league, while you're thinking of Aaron Brooks who went to China during the lockout. Chandler Parsons was a 2nd round pick, so the Rockets negotiated their own type of rookie contract for him, which at the time was really good since it was mostly guaranteed, something most 2nd round picks can't get, but Parsons doesn't qualify for this thread since he is on a rookie contract.

Players that are worth far more than their salary:

Stephen Curry- 9.8 milion (according to ESPN)
Omer Asik - avg 8 million over 3 years
Sam Dalembert - 3.7 million this year

Henry has been very good the the Lakers so far. Wasn't expecting much from him since he'd done nothing but ride the bench for two teams. Not sure the exact reason for that though.

Millsap is an insanely underrated contract (and player). $9 million a year for 2 years and he's capable of putting up 18/8 on a regular basis. Reminds me of that sweet deal the Pacers got for David West a few years ago, 2 years and $20 million. Proof that teams don't need to reach and overspend on risky players if you pick the right guys.

You can add Al Horford and Joakim Noah to the list too. Not so much because they're on cheap contracts, but there's plenty of bum centres who get paid nearly as much as those two. Kendrick Perkins makes about $2.5 million less than Noah. Emeka Okafor makes more than Noah and Horford and as much as Marc Gasol.
