That time they didn't make the NBA Finals.

Nash and Amare pick and roll. They almost made it into the Finals in 2007.

Memories...

Just look at Nash and Amare's movement back then. Everybody eventually breaks down.

Worst defensive duo ever:lol that why they never made finals
I remember when Amare dropped 37 a game on Duncan in playoffs because Duncan dont know how to defend pick and roll:roll:

no pun intended

I think they're better as a trio with Marion

Them feels...

I miss (prime) them. They were just so entertaining together to watch... some of the best/most exciting NBA games/moments/playoff rivalries of all time involved them.

They're a better duo than Lebron & Wade. Face it, if they played in the weak ass eastern conference they would have probably made it to the finals a few times and win the chip.

People always going to hate. Theyre just simpletons who judge by a "finals or bust" standard.

Marion was more valuable to that team than Amare(one of the most overrated players imo). Their offense didn't miss a beat when Amare went down with injury in 2006.

I'm just glad the suns had them both in their prime.......now they are just a shell of their former self........

lol at Amare being done at 31 years old. Shows how overrated he was in his prime. Nothing but athleticism and the perfect system. Marion's still a useful player for the Mavs and he's five years older than Amare.

Good times. The Suns were never my team but it was fun having them around. I think they're largely responsible (in part) for the NBA's scoring uptick. Teams were grinding from around 1997 until 2004. Slowly, as the Suns showcased the effectiveness of uptempo (coinciding with some rule alterations), other teams began following suit.

They'd make for a fun classic team on NBA 2K.

I beg to disagree Mrs. Kobetard. They were a terrible defensive team in the playoffs. Thunder. Pacers, Bulls, and Spurs would have beaten them in a best of 7 series. 2012 AND 2013 Heat would also beat the 2009 and 2010 Lakers.

I loved the Suns back in the day. Most entertaining team to watch IMO. Nash and Amare were great but the team as a whole was amazing. Even if it was just the system, everyone on that team was great to watch. They would drain 3s like it was nothing and they were never out of games where they couldn't come back. Miss them

Those Suns could have won the championship in '07 if not for refs + Cheap-shot Bob.

Lebron vs. Trevor Ariza in the 09 season...

19.5 ppg, 8.5 rpg, 8 apg. FG% 30.5%

0-2 against the Lakers.

And 2009 playoff Lebron > 2013 playoff Lebron.

And then we have prime Kobe/Pau going against D-cline and Boshy.

Magic32, prime Kobe without a elite front court= first round loser at max.

But anyways, the Nash-Amare duo was a fun classic duo. They were one of the best offensive duos of all time.
