I dont why people blame Nellie.He's the one who gave him playing time a got him to be a double double player.

He's had 2 coaches since then and he still cant get it together.Nellie is not to blame at all.

If his shit was together, there is no reason he couldn't play like he used to, in my mind; he's pretty stiff and durable. I've wondered if utilizing him differently might work. Like tell him all you're doing is getting boards, every board. I'm talking about short stints behind Ezeli. If he could get a little confidence back, other parts of his game might follow. I don't see this happening with the Warriors though. He needs a whole new setting.

Tbh I dunno if Josh Boone or Andris Biedrins is worse in terms of FT. The funnies thing I've ever heard on an NBA video game is that "Boone on the line, he is a 31% FT shooter."

Biedrins got paid and stopped caring. Nobody is to blame but himself, and the Warriors for overpaying an average player. This is one of the major issues with guaranteed contracts. Some players like Biedrins mentally check out (retire) the day they sign the contract.

At one point he was on his way to be a top 10 center in the league(He was only 20-21 then). Even All Star bids were in the talk..

His crippling fear of the charity stripe has destroyed any semblance of offensive game he once had. Until that improves, he'll continue to avoid being assertive in the post.

I specifically remember Don Nelson said Biedriņš would be coming back with an underhanded FT. Nelly tried to convince Andris to shoot underhand, citing Rick Barry, one of the most accurate FT shooters of all time, who always shot underhand. But I'm pretty sure Biedriņš thought he would look really dumb shooting FT's underhand(Which is ironic seeing the free throw attempt in the OP..), so he refused to learn that way, even though it's arguably better.

There are plenty of teams that need a big and he would minutes somewhere else. He's just wasting away in GS.

What I don't understand is, how can anyone be that bad a shooter? What is the first thing you do when you start playing ball? You dribble and shoot. That's literally all you do. You don't go out and start dunking the first time.
