I expect him to be somewhat rusty. With injuries like these, you have to work your way back into form since it effected your core.

They'll probably hold him out until the finals. It's not as if they really need him to beat Boston

Did you people even read the article? There's basically no change in Bosh's status right now. It's the same as before. All that happened was he ran in some drills.

Spoelstra says his status is still "indefinite" and he's going to prepare as though they will be without Bosh.

Psychological Warfare. The Heat without Bosh are capable of beating the Current Celtics.

This. Its not that Bosh CAN play, but at this point they pretty much NEED him to play.

Just hope they don't rush him.

Better not to rush him back. Play games 1 & 2, see if you really need to give Bosh a go rest of the series.

I don't think so.

It took Lebron's second best playoff game of his career and one of Wade's best ever as well to beat Indiana.

There is no reason to believe that Lebron can do that again in this series, let alone this whole year or even in the next two years or even three years. His 40/18/9 performance was a rare one.

The same goes for Wade and his 41 points on 17 for 25 shooting.

You are right nobody even read the article.

Bosh will probably be out at least week and even then you cannot know with these type of injuries. This is not something you can play through like a sprained ankle.

They should hold him til' the Finals, if they make it. They would't want him to go out like D-Rose.

Shaq even said last week he did just that and made it WORSE. The TNT crew pretty much consider him out for the rest of the year.

The problem with that theory is pacers had the best combo in entire playoffs to guard miami big two. They still failed miserably. You really think hobbled pierce and allen will be more effective than granger/paul george duo.You are daydreaming my friend.

People are underrating the Pacers. They have the tallest starting 5 in the NBA, but they failed to use their height advantage in the semi finals. They are also a good defensive team. Miami will outrun the Celtics in this series. Who's gonna guard LeBron and Wade? Haslem is also back in Game 1.

Wade is just as hobbled as Allen is.

And Boston plays great team defense with Garnett and Bass able to move around and rotate and create havoc down in the middle.

This. At least a hobbled Pierce or Allen won't make dumbass mistakes or have a coach who'll effectively shoot any chances of winning they had.

This is what people fail to understand. Indy had the best combination of players to give Miami fits, but didn't take advantage of it. The Heat beat Boston decisively last year and Boston is even weaker now this year. They've got NO bigs besides KG to neutralize Lebron and Wade in the lane.

Avery Bradley is out of the season. I am not a Chicago Bulls fan. I don't make excuses. It should have been Heat vs. Bulls in the conference Finals, But it sucks that Rose was injured in the first round. Miami in 5,

Manu had this same injury earlier in the year and he missed 15 days. Today makes it exactly two weeks since Bosh got injured. He seems to be close to at least practicing with the team.

Best and 2nd best player was out, unless you think Deng is better than Noah but Noah is much better than Deng in my opinion and I would definitely keep Noah before Deng.

Yeah if this is hobbled give me hobbled wade over any player in this league
averaging 33ppg on %62 yes %62 shooting.Dont forget celtics doesnt have a presence like hibbert in the middle to scare miami.Even garnett is a better defensive player at this point only thing that deters is a shot blocker in paint.

Again dont forget wade/james combo just played against best defensive duo they can see in entire playoffs and torched them almost averaging 70ppg and then some

Yes, they do. KG isn't exactly having a bad year this season, so who, are the Heat going to use to try and slow him down. Turiaf, Anthony, Pittman?

If he can play at a high enough level I think they could well beat either. With the way Wade/Lebron are playing how can you doubt them?

If Miami can win game 1 that would be huge for them. Then no matter what they're going to Boston with at least a 1-1 split and that buys a bit more time for Bosh to possibly come back game 3 or 4.
