The reason that the Yankees hat became bigger than the game itself is because it says New York on it ("NY" actually). Wearing the hat meant you were repping the greatest city on earth New York.

If their logo doesn't have the word Brooklyn in it (and no, just a "B" doesn't work...everybody knows that "NY" signifies New York no matter where you are...but a "B" can mean anything and doesn't signify anything) then it's a fail.

Even a pre schooler would realize what I just said. So SMH if that stupid shield with a random "B" on it is their logo.

Bobcats logo is fair, but their name sucks.

OKC logo would be ok as a brand for something, if their name wasn't Thunder. As such, their logo seems meaningless.

With that said, this Nets logo still sucks worse...even if it's only because of the white-outlined "B" thrown into a "safe" version of previous Nets logos.

My favorite was how the mayor said "they left one of the most dynamic cities in the country for Brooklyn" like it was 1979 and Brooklyn was a war zone. How is Newark one of the most dynamic cities?

Excellent, I thought that's what I read (that Monday is the day). I'm hoping for something a little deeper. Black and white jerseys can feel a little empty and bland. Even though the Spurs are technically black and silver, they tend to feel like black and white. It'd be nice if another color is slipped in there somewhere, at least in the logo.
