The 'reduced' price for the rest of the season is farcical, but there will still be some idiots who buy it... (€130 for the rest of the season here in Ireland - It was €160 for the whole season from opening night onwards).

It's something I would most likely enjoy if I got it, but it's almost out on principle now that I don't given there ridiculous pricing structures.

Casual fans only passively follow the game, and probably either support their home team (who they can typically watch with basic cable), or like an already-popular team like the Heat, who have a ton of games nationally televised. I agree. League Pass is only for hardcore NBA fans.
It's just too expensive if you're going to watch like 20-30 games a year.

On the other hand if you're going to watch like 150 games then it's worth it.

This is probably the case now, but largely because the NBA hasn't made any serious efforts to expand the user base. It behooves any sport to market its features to make offerings attractive to as wide a variety of persons as possible who do not fall under the die-hard category.

This is a multi-billion dollar organization. You can't tell me that an effective plan can't be put together to make LeaguePass more palatable for a potentially greater number of users.

Would such an effort cause millions of casual fans to buy in? Probably not, but it would pull in some. Obviously, I don't know what the numbers are, but speaking for myself, I'm a die-hard fan, yet I won't buy the package because its too expensive. I'm surely not the only one to feel this way.

How slow is your connection.Because as far as i know they have 800kpbs option too.Is there a slower connection than that? Seriously.

Its not that bad either i sometimes use it if i am downloading something while watching a game .Of course 3000kpbs(best resolution) is much better.If you are not gonna watch it live whats the point of having league pass.You can just download the games later if you are gonna watch it later.

Yes,you can view the games between 28-4 free at any time you want(including live of course),however you are not gonna have access to the previous games.Its just a marketing technique.
