So this thread might sound awkward, but i noticed a decent amount of nba players with facial scars.
Derrick rose comes to mind (acne scars), kevin durant, tony parker has a few...
I wonder if these guys are self-conscious about their scars?

Durant's face is fhcking covered. Haven't noticed anyone else as bad as him.
But no...they don't give a flying fhck. Bigger problems to worry about.

Chris Gatling was in a pretty serious accident as a child and had a monstrous scar that I thought he tried to cover with his headband but I think the scar was a lot bigger than I originally thought.

You can just see a hint of it there but it extends all the way back.

that link does not work.
Anyways i think derrick roses scars are worse than durants. I saw an interview of him, and in certain lighting you can see all the indentations.
Do you think they would give a rats ass even if they werent professional ballers?
I mean i see kats on a daily basis with scars, who are pretty confident.

They don't care. They're rich and basically celebs. Your looks only matter if you're broke and/or have no rep.

Yeah i guess thats true. But most of the times, you can't do anything to prevent scars.. you sort of just get them.

Yeah thats pretty much it. Why would they care if they got some scars when they are rich as hell.

I couldn't get the picture to work here but there's a much better look at it on the second page of the Google Image search for "Chris Gatling" (in a Magic uniform). It appears to extend from the front of his head to the back.
