The whole point of it is to give away tickets and the Clippers only had TWO home games in all of February. Those games were against Boston and Chicago, and were both sold out well ahead of time.

This was planned a long time ago to hold the Black History Night on the first home game in March, because that was the most ideal game for this type of giveaway.

I don't understand why people are insulting the Clippers for this. I don't see the Lakers giving away 1000 tickets.

secondly they're equating black children as being underpriveledged
third they're making the parents buy tickets and if the children are indeed underpriveledged, the parent's probably can't even afford the tickets
