Obviously you're a little kid who has NEVER watched Dominique dunk.

Same as 'Nique?
u have the intelligence of a goldfish, and these multiple accounts are really starting to bug everyone.

lebron has pulled off most of the dunks nique has in games, nique had the best windmill ever in a dunk contest but seriously in game, they are equal.

you obviously disagree, so im going to put this into terms so that i can offend you greatly

Because he only does the same thing, and mainly his dunks are fast break dunks. LAME

Where's Jason Richardson? KG on the list? It looks like a retarded 5 year old made this list.

Carter not at #1?

Jordan was a way better player than Carter, no doubt, but dunking is the one thing Vince has him and everyone else in the history of the NBA for that matter, beat.

True, true. I've got some bias because I met 'Nique a couple of years back. He's a cool guy. :oldlol:

Anyway, I'd also have to put Kobe and Thompson over LeBron. Kobe because of his variety and that he's still doing some nice dunks after 13 years in and Thompson because he could jump out of the gym and could go dunk for dunk with Dr.J even at 6'4".

I see little reason Richardson should be on the list.

He won dunk contests, but in games, he not much of anything special.

Maybe if he ever took it to the rack, there'd be a decent argument for him, but he shoots more threes than free throws for the past several seasons now.

For dunk quality, I would've put T-Mac over Kobe, but I would've put Kobe over Lebron easily.

When they did the analysis after the show, Chris Broussard said Clyde at #5 or #6 was too high. I honestly don't think so. What do you guys think?

Clyde is a little overrated and Kobe under. I don't think anyone has as many baseline dunks as Kobe. Either way I'd keep Clyde where he's at and move Kobe to #7.

i think they give clyde credit for the ridiculous dunks he pulled off in his Phi Slamma Jamma days, maybe thats why he is so high:confusedshrug:

I saw it too. Since it was done in 2007, i wonder if it would be any different this year. I would have to say that prime Carter was number one. MJ number two. Wilkins number 3. Dr. J number 4. Kemp at #5.

The list is actually a couple of years old, which makes the LeBron's inclusion in the top 10 even more egregious than it would be otherwise. I love Clyde's game, but having him in the top 5 was/is a bit of a reach. I can stomach him in the top 15, but most of his greatest dunks did not even occur in the NBA. He was at his best in college. Kemp should have gotten the 5 spot. I would put Baby Fro Kobe at 6, his dunking during this period is often slept on.

Also Nique and LeBron are totally different dunkers. Nique pulled off windmills on putbacks, while surrounded by multiple defenders. There was a suddeness or out of the blue quality to a Nique dunk that no other player has been able to capture. Excepting Nique, every dunker on this list tends to telegraph their dunks.

Anyway, Vince Carter is hands down the best dunker to ever step foot on an NBA court.

Lebron at 6 for me. His dunks arent necessarily orthodox, but I would guess he gets more dunks per game than any of the top 5 got, and they are usually pretty impressive quick high leaping forays of whammy

as of now. prime Vince Carter should be #1, some of his best dunks are out of this world. MJ at #2, by popular demand. Nique is #3, best 2 footed dunker in NBA history. Dr J. at #4. LeBron should move up to #5, nobody is dunking more harder than LeBron right now. Kemp is #6. Clyde the Glide at #7. Kobe at #8. im putting Dwight Howard at #9. JRich at #10 because he's still doing his thing.

this list is weak.
Vince Carter is unarguably the greatest dunker in history; there is no debate. His combination of power, creativity, and leaping ability make even Jordan and Wilkins look like amateurs.

Now to Lebron:

as overrated as he is in many respects, his dunking is incredibly underrated. The creativity is not there, but he makes up for it by soaring through the air and throwing it down with great force.

Dunk on D-Jones (great TNT commentary) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yfhp7LiZaVs&feature=PlayList&p=9FF6DF5722AAF5F4&playnext=1&index=29)

on this vid, watch dunks 12 through 1. I particularly like #12, #11, and #6. #2 is way overrated.

Watch here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YjIo3379A0o)

lastly, here is a spectacular dunk that goes largely overlooked: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIV0_1Y6pRE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pIV0_1Y6pRE)

 at INARGUABLE. As far as I am concerned Lebron is on the same level as all of those except Carter when it comes to 'in game' dunks.
Not as creative in terms of really fancy type dunks, but in terms of height, power, quickness, sheer volume and ability to just take off from seemingly anywhere around the basket under pressure... he is on par or better. On top of that he regularly pulls reverses and those flying one foot windmills that most of those players dreamt about.

sorry unarguable. the i is right next to the u. my bad.

lebron is the only one in the top 10 that could be argued outside of the top 20.
i understand the big nike contract and witness tshirts can be confusing. when you watch youtube clips there arent announcers screaming during any of thompson's dunks. but come on. lebron has the athleticism to one day create an arsenal of top dunks. he just hasn't done any of them. in fact as of current catalog.. t-mac could be arguably better.

All right he doesn't do 360s on the fast break or stuff like that, but we're not rating fast-break dunkers, just dunkers. How could you not get excited when LeBron drives to the basket and throws it down over the entire defense with such power you could probably hear it from the locker room ? :confusedshrug: T-Mac or Kobe are nowhere near him as dunkers.
