The Mavericks would probably still lose this series with prime LeBron ngl but it would be closer for sure.

Luka’s a liability on both ends of the floor because he plays too slow and can’t defend.
Prime Lebron in place of Luka would be a such different story. Lebron would tear these boys up on both ends.

Luka just doesn't measure up to LeEinstein, bub, give it up. Another L for white supremacists :(

Hes really not though... Luka throws the same amount if not more dimes and kyrie was never a transition player. He did almost all his damage in the half court completely 1v1. Kyrie and Lebron rarely ever assisted each other. Certainly not more than Luka and Kyrie do. The only difference is Irving has been ice cold shooting in this series.
It's...

I doubt it, LeBron actually likes basketball unlike MJ who just cares about winning competitions.

When a series ends in a sweep it's either because the matchup is lop-sided or the teams are relatively even, but one team had several things go their way in the closing minutes of a couple of the games.
Similar, if a team is down 0-3 they're either being outclassed or unlucky. If they're outclassed, they aren't winning 4 in a row. If they're...

nah, LeBron is a superior playmaker and his dominant defense also created a lot of fastbreak opportunities. His unique athleticism also allowed Kyrie and company to use him a lob threat.

Kyrie and Lebron literally play exactly like Kyrie and Luka. Your turn my turn 1v1 basketball. The only difference is Kyrie made his buckets vs Golden State and hasn't vs Boston.

Calling Bosh and ESPECIlALLY 38 year old Ray Allen a franchise player is how I know you’re senile.

If the league lets Lebron suit up for Dallas it would be a 100% lock, but short of that there is no chance.

When 3 (Lebron, Bosh, Ray) of the team's most important players (and I'll give you Wade as he was drafted by the Heat) are franchise players turned ring chasers, it brings the word "collusion" to a whole 'nother level. The only other team even approaching that (during 2000-10) is KG and Ray (and they had seen their better days in the past - not...

This. Great post.
Also would add Messi and Ronaldo to that as well as Ovechkin. They also have insane longevity. It's happening across all sports.
And like I said, longevity is situational too. Lebron getting into the NBA out of high school is a factor. Him winning less and still chasing Jordan is a factor. If Lebron came into the...

I think a lot of people have this thing twisted.
Luka is averaging a 30 point triple double. And Kyrie hasn't played well. If Kyrie played like this vs the Warriors the Cavs and Lebron would've gotten beat down. But he literally went off.
No excuse either since All NBA defender Klay was guarding Irving just like current Jrue. But I think...

You realize that LeBron only played 2 seasons in the Eastern Conference while Brown was in the NBA, and 1 season for Tatum, right?
All other years of their career LeBron has been in a totally different conference.

Yeah but the level of athlete peak LeBron was, even dropping a few levels he's still a great athlete. Clearly more injury prone, has to pick his spots and lost a few inches on his vertical....
