It's amazing what the old head revisionism has had us brainwashed with. Shaq and Kareem averaged 3 assists per game. They were NOT great passers. They knew how to throw a simple kick out when they were doubled... like almost everybody. Watching Jokic really gives you an appreciation for what great big man passing is. Divac and Sabonis do as well.

Only this time, instead of the victim getting up and throwing the ball in the victor’s face, he stays down grabbing his knee, writhing in pain.

Other than a one-off when everyone was getting one-offs (Iverson, Dwight, Kidd), Lebron didn't start making multiple Finals until he teamed up with the next-best player in the league and put the top 3 players in the conference on 1 team..
And he was swept 4-0 by the 07' Spurs because he averaged 22 on 35%, while MJ was nearly beating the Bad...

The longer he extends his career to pad all time numbers, the more it brings attention to his use of PED’s to achieve that productive extension.

AD is literally averaging 30/15 now on 60+% shooting. And 4 dimes a game which is more than Shaq and Kareem used to average. All your criticisms against him apply to them but he's actually a better defensive player.

So you're mad that Davis isn't as good or better than top 10 all time players? Equally asinine.

Yea that was an absurd take.
AD is clearly the dominant defensive player like 10 fold over any other Laker player right now.

OP gonna be in fan hell if Murray breaks out next game lol
Part of what he said is true, Jokic game isn’t the type where he can just takeover the game with high usage and low assists and dominate it himself, without moving pieces around him.
But with moving pieces, that he has chemistry with, his style of play is vastly superior in...

I thought GM's would give Durant the "lebron treatment" and send him all the best role players to fill out his roster.. i didn't know that it would just be KD and Booker (Beal is obviously hurt).. what a nightmare... It would've been nice for the Suns to get guys like Vanderbilt, Wood, Dinwiddie or Hayes, but again, the GM's were only working for...

Players who thrive scoring and playing in transition, who lack either/both good 3pt shot, good post game, good 1-1 or PNR/PNP game … always struggle a little more in the playoffs.

Mad? No I'm not mad dude what :lol
I literally gave two examples the post you quoted of great PFs/Cs orchestrating things and setting others up. All of the greatest players ever have done this, regardless of position. Aside from perhaps the true freaks who were unstoppable scorers like Kareem and Shaq. But even both of them were great passers...

He's the only pass-first player on the team. That in itself provides value to this team IMO. Shai and Jalen both can pass and create shots for teammates but they're scorers first.

Youngest NBA player ever with a triple double :confusedshrug:
He’s had plenty of games where he was as good, as he was bad in the games youre referring to.
He’s a very tall guard with a solid handle and poise. He has all the tools youd want except shooting ability, and thats the thing players are most likely to improve over time.
He’s...

It’s impressive how good he is when he’s actually just playing rather than trying to flop every other touch. Literally looked like a 7 foot Kobe on that last turnaround fadeaway. Very pretty game.
