Now that I think about it the NBA Illuminati might like Minnesota as champs. The league started calling games differently after the embarrassment of the All-Star game. The T-Wolves may be the perfect ambassadors for what the NBA is trying to course-correct toward ahead of TV/streaming rights negotiations.

Jokic doesn't jump. He might end up the Andre Miller of bigs. It's why he doesn't get hurt. Even guys like Yao took way more bad falls than him. Can you even conjure the image of Jokic taking a bad fall in your head? I can't remember it happening once, and I've watched the Nuggets a ton since the bubble.
Just a thought.

This isn't Utah where he's cover for a bunch of offense-only guys. The Wolves have a ton of physical defenders.

They had the same Vegas win total line as OKC when the season started. I think either of them would be a similarly surprising champion.

Game 2 was a MAULING. Goddamn. Minnie-soda is for real. Bringing back the age-old adage "defense wins championships." Big, physical, athletic, skilled, can shoot. Clearly defined roles. They've got all the ingredients of a championship team.

Houston had The Wood over Chicago in the regular seeze but Mike would've got it done methinks. That trademark patented ball pressure and turnover game would've sham-wow'd Hakeem like the SuperSonics often did.

That's true. MJ said himself he was glad Houston was in the west because the Bulls couldn't handle Hakeem.

You think Hakeem didn't win >50% of games against Jordan and you think Jordan wasn't scared of Hakeem? Ha.
The Bulls had no answer for Hakeem.

The team attempted to find a way to have Gobert return in time for the game at Ball Arena, but those efforts were unsuccessful given the timing and heavy winds that caused flight delays in Denver.

Jon Krawczynski: Rudy Gobert: “I’ve found a team, a coaching staff, an organization and a city that has embraced me, and a group that has embraced me. I feel like it’s like a family. We are there for each other. We really care about one another.” – via Twitter JonKrawczynski

What are you talking about? They collectively play great defense and they have multiple really good to great perimeter defenders which is far more important than rim defense. In today’s NBA. That’s why they just had their best defense outing while Rudy Tootie had to go watch a baby come out of his wife’s ******, because why? As if he couldn’t fly...

Our state run Citizen was created because at one time so many private insurance companies pulled out. Now Citizen has us sign this agreement that if there are catastrophic losses in one area of the state, all the Citizen policy holders will share in paying. Things are better now - they just moved me out of Citizens to a private company. Maybe...
