now that Ant OK'ed the deal of reuniting Gobert with Conley, it's time for him to show some GOAT level hesitation moves and utterly destroy MPJ if they dare to switch on him

I meant the level he's currently at, not the tendencies/attributes aspect. I think it's fairer to compare Ant to like 06 Wade than it is to compare to Jordan( unless you're talking about like 87 MJ or something). When people start throwing out names we need to be clear which version of the player, and where that player was in their career. But...

If the Wolves get it done then we've had three new NBA champions in 5 years. Raptors, Nuggets and Wolves. This must drive the Suns crazy. Not least because they were 2-0 up in the finals 3 years ago and choked it away.

People say all the time that the NBA champions basically just win a war of attrition. The 2015 Warriors had a cakewalk all the way to the chip because every team they went through had injuries to star players. Same with the 2019 Raptors.
Staying healthy is more important than being good if you want a championship.

Whatever any of the voters say, their votes are heavily based on last seasons playoffs and voter fatigue. There was no way anyone but Joker was winning this after the run last year.
Now in contrast, even if the Nuggets win the chip this year, have a better record next season and Joker has similar or better stats, he will not win the MVP. Voter...

the Thunders, consistently showcasing they are on the verge of figuring out the order in which the team personnel eats, then they throw you a curve ball with some mad sh*t.

the 19 Rapters were more underestimated I'd say. they won because they simply had enough talent to move Ibaka to the bench.
so the assumption here is that the Wolves will have enough bench scoring to cover up Gobert's deficiency, but that's a lot of iso ball, and a lot of reliance on Edwards defense who's only given you 11 steals and 5 blocks...

Yeah, I find it funny when people do that. Even on ESPN shows and NBA on TNT they've done that. It's how they frame it that bothers me. They should be saying "when Victor is on the court, the Spurs perform like the fourth-ranked defense." Or "When he's on the court, San Antonio's defensive rating is comparable to the fourth-ranked defense.
But...
