Yea he’s been really great. From an individual standpoint he’s holding his own but what prevents him from being truly elite is having that 3rd dimension in that he can’t really manage the game and create for others like the truly top guys.
A similar type of player like Duncan was masterful at picking his spots and knowing when to attack and...

He's already cemented himself as the greatest entity to engage in a competitive endeavor. If he wins anymore I dunno what happens. Maybe it'll be his apotheosis upon which he finally assumes leadership of humanity and carries us into the dawn of a new age of galactic conquest.

Shroeder was 10x the defender dlo is and Murray lit him up for 33 ppg on 50/40/90 splits in the WCFs last year. And this year Murray's %'s are trash in this series.
Sometimes the ball just doesn't go into the basket regardless of whose defending. Murray hit his most crucial clutch shots this year with 7foot AD draped all over him.

Considering peaks are usually 2-4 years and Jokic is already 29 and about to win his 3rd MVP, I think it's safe to say we have already seen his peak, he's at the tail end of it.

Yolk is so far ahead as a passer and shooter. MJ has the athleticism but isn't generating offense like Jokic. The Nuggets have fielded way better team offenses than the 90s Bulls.

AD averaged 27/14 on 49/50/88 splits last year vs Denver. This year he's doing 30/15 on 62/0/83 splits vs them. Better but not really a tremendous difference at all. His playoff numbers have always been super elite.

We have to see a bit more of Jokic. But for now, Jokic is absolutely in the conversation for highest offensive peak. Honestly, deciding MJ or Jokic will probably just come down to team composition.

AD has been a monster this whole year. He is a real superstar, he just has had so many injuries in his career.
Jokic is the best player in the league and AD is completely holding his own (unlike last year).

with or without Bell’s palsy? With or without an MCL? With or without the nba coming out and saying we blew the call for the game? Does he have all 3 of those things going against him or just 1 or 2 or none?
Don’t just say he’s down 1-2 without mentioning everything

Number 1 in reg season, number 1 in playoffs so far...at 39 years old.
He also averages the most 4th quarter ppg career-wise out of anyone in the league since 1997, while also playing the MOST 4th quarters as well.
Seriously, this dude's only all-time competition is Jordan. Everyone else is battling for 3rd place.

Hindsight’s 20/20. Gobert is a 30 year old who has had a history of being played off the court by smaller teams in the playoffs, he had a great regular season but he’s always had great dpoy regular seasons. Tbf, he’s never had guys like ant and mcdaniels to have his back out there, his best defensive help in Utah were Conley (who was actually...

Yeah, but that’s with mostly Reaves and D’Lo on him. Timberwolves are throwing mcdaniels and ant at him. His worst defender will be Conley, who might as well be all def 1st compared to what the lakers threw at him.

Imagine if Joker’s guard was averaging 31/5/7 on 51/39/100… in the east. You think he’d be down 1-2?

So now, by 3 Ball logic, you don’t have to win a championship to be a championship team, and you don’t have to sweep to sweep.
Applying this logic, how many scoring titles did Karl Malone get (not to mention Championships)?

The missing layups thing is whatever. He can usually drive, make plays from inside the paint and finish decently. People have off games. The main issue is he can't shoot. If he could be a 37% or better 3pt shooter he would be a vital member of the team. He's the only one other than Shai who can handle the ball and make plays for others.

MJ. That being said Jokic's offensive output isn't very indicative of his impact. He could jack up a lot more shots and dominate the ball in order to put up better stats to the detriment of the team.

Jordan. Both can carry an offense and it will be on me if the best in the league. Jokic is also a pretty good closer. But Jordan is the greatest closer ever. Give me the guy you can have more faith in than anyone else to get a basket in the clutch.
And it's not like Jordan wasn't a good passer.

The only championships I can think of where the team didn't have an excellent second scorer are Nowitzki's Mavs and Olajuwon's first ring with Houston. And even in those cases guys had to step up, the stars didn't just go out there and average 50. LeBron James is one of the greatest ever and he can only win a weak conference that way. MJ needs...

Caron Butler wasn't their 2nd option.
I knew you were talking out of your ass.
Nelson wasn't their second option lol he was their 4th option.
Curry didn't win 3 series without KD, it was 1 game against Houston.:lol Portland meh they didn't need KD to beat them.
