In the Western Conference, the Minnesota Timberwolves knocked off three-time MVP Nikola Jokic and the defending champion Denver Nuggets in a thrilling Game 7 comeback to reach the conference finals for the first time since 2004. :coleman:

Jesus F. Cringe.
It was reported on ESPN that Vogel was out in Phoenix because KD refused to acknowledge him. Is that "race based?" Mitchell had the say here, and he sent JB packin. Giannis was slamming Griffin in his own press conferences, how are you finding a way to blame that on the media? The Lakers are absolutely bent over to their...

Besides the unusual expectations, I know that a lot of posters hate race victimization discussions, but it is worth pointing out that when many of the black coaches get fired, it magically comes out the personality clashes that they had.
We've heard it with Bickerstaff, Griffin, McMillan, Fizdale, Watson, Mike Brown, Jackson, etc, etc.
It's...

Sabonis is an absolute horse in the regular season, plays 82 games full throttle and can score, pass and rebound. Outside of Fox, who had a down year compared to last, the Kings dont have a ton on the roster. Monk is a nice sixth man, but in the bloodbath West the Kings stayed in the hunt largely because of Domas. I dont have a problem with the...

Aint the question.
They have a star to retain, and they're gonna make whatever move they've got the impression will accommodate him. They dont go in either direction without takin Mitchell's temperature on the matter.
Very similar to the situation in Lakerland. It doesnt matter what the front office thinks about Ham. They do not axe him...

I think this is a case where it’s justified to ask “What more should I have done?”. They kinda have to admit he maxed out what he had to work with don’t they? Hes supposed to beat the Celtics? With 3 injured key players?

This was my prediction before the game,
I legitimately thought they could win game one hence why I stated it as there best possibility to win in this series.
Minnesota won 3 games in Denver last series proving to themselves that HCA isn't some huge advantage for them. I felt game one in Minnesota was going to mean more to Dallas and...

I think you could probably do it.
Its just so uncommon to us.
He came up as an absolute role player guy.
Its just about setting him free.
I think the same for Derrick White, Norman Powell. Maybe OG too.

The worrying thing for Minny is that Luka/Kyrie didn't seem the least bit bothered by their defense. In particular Luka had no issues with McDaniels who is an elite defender, but is pretty skinny.
It might be better to put McDaniels on Kyrie and leave Ant on Luka, knowing that Ant can't guard Luka. I think McDaniels length would be more...

So many headlines
Kyrie returning to scorn Boston fans
Doncic vs Porzingus for Euro bragging rights
Kyrie winning with Doncic proving he does more than Lebron with less All stars
Another chance for Tatum to choke in the finals

This is getting ahead of ourselves BUT, it would be quite a full circle irony if Luka and Porzingis meet in the finals as opponents, after their experiment as a star partnership failed to live up to expectations.

You knew Dallas could win even though they were ice cold from 3?
If somebody told you Kyrie would shoot 0% from 3 and Luka 30% and the role players even worse who would've thought Dallas could've won?
And it wasn't like they were heavily contested heaves... Mavs were missing wide open 3s.

I'm definitely sticking with it. I knew Dallas could win that game, hence why I thought it would go 6. I still think the Mavs will win one more at home and the Wolves win the rest.
Gafford has shown his limitations already and Livley and Washington were good this game but I just don't think they can be depended this series againt this...

Bingo.
And that's toodys weakness. He's used to plodding around the rim just gooning guys. Hes not even remotely skilled at basketball. The lob threat of Lively and Gafford has to keep him honest though.
And on the flipside, the Nuggets rim protection is all time bad where Dallas centers actually contest shots.
If the role players can...

I could be wrong. I guess I dont see him as a guy you put the ball in his hands and tell him to figure out what to do. I feel like hes a guy who responds to plays and finishes them, not necessarily sets things up. Ive not seen any indication hes a guy you consistently play THRU.
Again, I think hes like a PJ Washington Plus. He can do a lot on...

What happens to the March Madness/Turner Sports marriage?
The past seasons, the NBA guys have been calling March Madness games. What happens now with the NBA leaving Turner. Who gonna do the games now?

It’s all on him and Doncic. If they play like they did last night theyll win the series. They arent gonna be able to get away with slumps like they did vs the Thunder and Clippers methinks. But they also looked pretty comfortable against the Minny D.
My first reaction to this matchup was that it was very good for the Wolves, but as we were...
