It will be a great finals for sure.
I do think Mavs match up well against Boston, because they are a 3 point chucking team and we've just seen what Mavs do against so-so driving teams that like to chuck.
Of course Celtics are better, but Mavs will still try to make Horford beat you like Naz Reid did. The problem of course is that the rest of...

In Game 1 Gobert played 37 minutes and was a +10. They lost by 3. So in the 11 minutes he was off the court, they were a -13.
In Game 2 Gobert played 37 minutes and was a +1. They lost by 1. So in the 11 minutes he didn't play, they were a -2.
Gobert is not the problem for the Wolves in this series. The problem is their so called...

I'm thinking this kind of becomes instinctual, you do what you practise.
MJ famously practised every day as if it was game 7 of the finals, like he said, those clutch shots he hit, he practised them 1000 of times so it was instinctual.
Same with Luka, but not same with Gobert.
The NBA has gotten used to "switch everything" because it...

Is that...bad? Is their some weird personal and tight-nit definition of that word that you have with you friends that I'm not aware of? :lol
Pull that tape. DO IT.
He wasn't a crazy athlete but he moved at a quicker pace as a player than Luka does.

What you said was ridiculous.
Magics athleticism was mid at best. He was big and extremely smart for a point guard. Just like Luka.
With the difference being Luka is 10x better pull up jump shooter.
Shawk I hate to say this my brother... but you are a ZESTY dude. :lol

Lol what? :lol
I've never seen someone like you who is so confident in something they know nothing about.
I never said he was Lebron, MJ, or Vince Carter as an athlete.

That's a BIG cap!
Vince Carter was super athletic. Kobe was super athletic. Jordan or Lebron were superman athletic.
Magic? :lol GTFO. Magic was slow as mollases physically but sharp as a tack mentally. He wasn't out there out speeding or out jumping guys. He was out timing them and out anticipating them. Just like Luka.
Bro you...

Come on..
Luka is not nearly as athletic as Magic was. Magic was probably the greatest transition player ever. Luka doesn’t come close to that and as such plays the game at a slower pace. Both controlled the game in their own way but Magic played fast.
Not really similar players other than both are big and great passers.

Disagree
Luca aint surviving The Glove's full court press. He just dont have energy to physically deal with full court presses. The Glove will do to Luca exactly what he did to 1996 Jordan. tire him out. Back than defenses know how to tire superstars out. today, defenses dont even deny superstar entry pass as much these days.
maybe...

That was terrible defense. So much space between the defender and him. Luka looks slow out there. Lock that bitch up and force a turnover.

Sure. Getting someone to work for you for less than market value is always smart. You just can’t assume the option will be available. Even people who like going to work don’t like to see somebody they consider equal or worse than them having a bunch of extra money.
I often see fans make the argument that once you’re rich, it doesn’t matter if...

what can I say.....seriously.
the other day, I met this gen z kid at the gym, he is lecturing me how much Luka is better than Kobe ever was.
do people even understand what Kobe's strength, athleticism and motor was like.
All I hear from this kid is Luka has 2nd highest playoff PPG. lol. this recency bias is out of control these days.

they could win this year and be in contention next few years. Stevens does like making changes but this starting lineup is stacked and seems hard to improve outside trading jrue when he ages

People dont understand how soft Pippen was in the beginning. This guy took years to learn pro basketball toughness. 1989 Game 6, He got hit in the head first few mins by lambeer, he just quit on entire team. just sat out on bench. By this time, this was the most important Bulls game ever.
it happened again.
1990 ECF Game 7. Pippen gets...

Uf the Celtics don't win a championship over the next few years big change is coming regardless. They have a chance to win right now with JB. They're going for it. Whatever Hauser gets paid in a few years will be what he gets, if it's in Boston, great, if he has to go elsewhere, best of luck, oh well.

he's been by far the best celtic in playoffs by epm too and was 2nd best during regular season after tatum. Small sample but it's one of the best predictive impact stats out there. 18ppg is not 24ppg but he's more efficient and a better playmaker shooter and defender than the J's.

what baffles me is ANT has a perfect turnaround and fadeaway jumpshot. even contested hard, he is nailing that fadeaway off the bank too.
how does he not have much simpler pull-up Jumper and cannot pull-up on the dime. going atleast to his dominant right hand is alarming.
Even a non-athlete like Pacers McConnell goes to his dominant right...

oh ik brown is more important than hauser. Just saying not having one role guy couldve cost denver a title this year. However yes I think it was presumptuous for you to assume because boston won 64 games they're set for the next few years. It just hasnt worked that way in history even as talented as boston is. If owner doesnt keep the starting...
