Congrats, there is one lineup that doesn't have Doncic listed.
The bad news is that teams shot 51.9% against that lineup.

On a serious non troll note, yes I agree, Vince Carter is definitely not stupid. You can tell by listening to him for 30 seconds.

Easier to find defensive role players for cheap than offensive superstars. Guys like Dray and Rodman and Ben Wallace and Bowen and whoever else were 2nd round picks.

I get your point of course but in the flip side Carter isn't stupid. Giving a deep answer to this question that he will hand out every time and treat like gospel just isn't important to him.

Well I guess since a former NBA player said it, it must be true. NBA players regularly give expert level analysis and their takes are always spot on. So good. Vince is a very good analyst. Kobe is the GOAT.

1994 Bulls - 55 wins, conference semi finals, lost MJ for nothing
2005 Lakers - 34 wins, missed playoffs entirely, got decent compensation for O'Neal
Yeah, no offense though.

There's a lot of great 2nd options that didn't ŵin... prime Shawn Kemp, Kevin Johnson, John Stockton, Vince Carter (or Jason Kidd), Blake Griffin (or Chris Paul), and after them ones that did like Paul Pierce, Manu, Parker, Pau, and 1995 Clyde. Kyries up there but there's a lot of guys if you comb through history.

Kobe Bryant would score 50 ppg in the 60s if a coach let him off the leash and just go wild, lets be real.
When Kobe was on, his offensive ability was borderline frightening, maybe even moreso than MJ in a way.
People can hate on him, but Kobe was an immense talent even when you look at him at age 19/20, unpolished, he oozed talent, it was...

Scottie Pippen no offense to him was never close to a Kareem Abdul Jabbar or Kobe Bryant level player.
Kareem was still averaging 23.4 ppg at age 38, Pippen at age 38 wouldn't even be able to carry his jock strap.

what a load of carp!
Wilt led NBA as a scoring champ 7 straight year.
I am not even sure if MJ is the best scorer ever against Wilt. Wilt literally ave 50-PPG. MJ might never do that if they played in same era.
Bird was incredibly efficient scorer compared to Kobe. Bird pulled down like 12+ RPG with 30 PPG game. and this is lot more...

I remember they took a lot of crap for that when it first happened. Instead of apologizing they just doubled down and kept rolling with it.
They paraded a bunch of hot girls at a San Antionio game not long afterwards to show there are hot girls there and Barkley was like 'they aren't from San Antonio, they just bused them in from Houston and...

Y So you did read the five man unit ratings, no? If you did you saw that the worst units included Doncic. His total defensive +/- is going to basically be Dallas's overall plus minutes. If Dallas has a 1 score lead with 20 seconds to go and the opponent has the ball Kidd is going to sit him. Try again.

Definitely Luka/Dirk. KG was never known as clutch and Tatum is a borderline choker. Their defensive advantage isn't enough to override the fact that both players need a true alpha alongside them to win. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if JB gets the fmvp if the Celtics manage to topple the Mavs

I mean his last 5 second stats don't help him out, but to call Tatum a borderline "choker", that's just incorrect.

That's a tough one! What era? I'd like to play Dirk alongside a center like KAT today. What do you guys think? Can prime Dirk play PF today? I think so. Being able to mitigate his defensive deficiencies by playing him with a defensive anchor is what swings this for me. And the cramped space doesn't really affect Dirk all that much due his all-time...
