After the 2004 Finals the NBA decided that they needed to open up the game offensively to bring a better product for the fans. The alterations introduced by the NBA included restrictions on hand-checking, blocking fouls, and the defensive three-second rule. These changes aimed to promote a more open style of play and encourage higher-scoring...

"That one right there made me... THE KINGSLAYER"
Instead of flexing he should have stolen and put on Lebron's air crown.

The Celtics can still win short term without him, when he missed games in the regular season they were still pummeling playoff teams by double digits without missing a beat. Theyve still got Big Al who does a lot of the things KP does, just doesnt block as many shots and is much older ofc so he's not gonna be around long term. But they're still...

Jordan's teammates were trash relative to today but so were his opponents teammates. So it evens out.
The 80s and 90s were so damn weak compared to today. Bunch of dudes dribbling only right handed getting sagged off 10 feet on every play. That wouldn't fly today. They'd get avalanched from deep.

100%.
If you cloned a guy and put a copy of him on all 30 teams, the majority of fans would think the copy thats on the contending versions is “elite” and the copy on the bad teams “doesnt have what it takes.”

Wemby averaged 28/17/7/3/5 this series, but his teammate averaged 26 ppg with optimal navigation efficiency and offball passing, proving he can't do it without an equal scoring partner. Only MJ has won a ring averaging 10+ more ppg than his second option, and Wemby-ball can only turn teammates into spot up shooters instead of playmakers.

It's a funny thing about perception: no one's that guy until they win it all, and then they've undeniably been that guy all along.
Booker's a baller. He isn't on the same level of a tier 1 guy like Jokic so he'll need more help in other aspects, but he did almost win it all in 2021 as his team's best player and had arguably one of the best...

It took you long turning from LeBron to Jokic as the target but it's finally happening.
As for your 'take', Pippen was a better basketball player than Murray. I don't know who you are comparing Porter to but it it's his shooting the Bulls had some great outside shooters. Anyway, if you try comparing the squads and tell us with a straight face...

Jokic should have had 8 or 9 ft's for 7+ more points and Murray's gamewinner wouldnt have been needed. Or if Murray played to his standards this series.

Statpadding? Just when i thought you couldn't be any dumber you managed to surpass yourself.
It was an elimination game and they were up 2 after 3 quarters :facepalm
Booker and KD put up a fight and would have won if Beal hadn't been a garbage can.

It's actually pretty crazy how guys like Shaq and Hakeem were doubled and even tripled so much and only averaged 3 dimes a game. Jokic averages 3-4x that while not being doubled quite as much (a good amount but not as much).
That's what really stands out. And it's not a physical thing it's a mental thing. The guy seems to see things in slow...

What an intelligent post.
I wanted to see how my opinion changed over the years. There is no search function here and many older threads have already been deleted. I started following Jokic closely 5-6 years ago and became a real fan 3 years ago.
I was probably selling him short with top 10. On ability alone he is already there and many...

No leadership? Booker dropped 49 in an elimiation game while Beal wet the bed going 4-13 with 6 turnovers. The fact that you call Beal an All-star level player shows how clueless you are. They win that game if Beal doesn't play like he bet against them.

It’s bad. It’s just not end of the world make multiple threads to trip on bad. No contract in the NBA can be.
Because in the modern NBA with the ever-changing CBA and TV deals no situation is permanent for that long.
Shit Washington was able to get out of it. That’s proof right there.

The preliminary diagnosis is calf tightness but they will examine it in more depth today. Porzingis himself says it will be fine. Here's what will happen based on what we've seen so far this season, how the Celtics have handled his injuries: He won't play in Game 5. If the Heat puch it to 7 games he may come back this series but otherwise the...

Yes. I totally agree, stating Bradly Beal’s contract is no good is being captain obvious….However, at the beginning of the season there were a few guys around here that were either playing devils advocate or trolling or I don’t know what was up with their deal, but they were out here arguing till they were blue in the face that Bradly Beal’s...
