I remember reading Bill Simmons book years back and he mentioned there were Reggie Lewis for Hakeem trade rumors back in the early 90's and that most Celtics fans were against that. :oldlol:

Doncic is able to hit the open man if they try to send help defense too. While McDaniels will not be able to keep doncic from his spots on the block, we will have to see if his length can make up for it and still bother him, even if Luka gets deep position,

Who’s going to humble him? They just took out the defending champs who had that vaunted superior brand of ball. Now they play “Luka-ball”.
I guess you’re a Celtic fan for the next few weeks. But if the Wolves out-physical them and win the series then what?

I've seen brash young guys like him a million times - they always get humbled and shut down.
It's human nature.
Wait until he faces someone that is just as hungry but has actually cut their teeth

He's too young to know what's going on and has been coddled so far in his career... This honeymoon, no-pressure period will end soon.. The Finals has a way of squeezing everyone - we saw "the game" from Lebron against the Pistons in 07' and it was all fun and games - but the Finals is always a different level and even the court has special...

mcDaniels length gets taken out of the equation if you get into his spindly, weak 185lb body. Luka was 230 as a rookie and keeps getting fatter. He’s 250-255 currently. Was as high as 264 in 2022-2023. Luka posting up OFTEN AF would be exactly what Dallas needs more of from here on out.

He will be humbled
The first time he felt a hint of pressure in Game 7, he shot 25%...
The Finals will certainly have this kind of pressure... But it's all just fun and games and surprising everyone right now

First off, it’s a highlight reel. It’s not gonna show examples of competent defense played by either side. These vids don’t show stops. Second, did you actually watch this reel, because it shows maybe two defensive breakdowns by Jokic, out of about 30 highlighted MN plays. It also clearly shows a couple of plays where Jokic deterred a driver,...

Kobe & Bron had a lot more wins at the same age too. Winning 6 is hard.

MJ answered all the questions. It will take a career to see if someone matches up to him, not just a year or a couple of years or a few years.

Ive read about Jordan shooting like shit vs the Knicks in that must win game in 93 and it’s rarely mentioned we were up like 20 early and it never became a game. But 3-18 looks real bad even if it’s of no consequence and largely during a blowout.
A whole lot of series average skewing things happen that don’t matter nearly as much as they change...

that's because KAT built a playoff team before Ant even got there and they were a playoff team again before Ant was even the team's best player - Ant didn't take the team over until his 3rd season, so he was completely coddled compared to Jordan's path... ONLY JORDAN had to develop teammates, teams, and franchises, while everyone else was gifted...

No, Jordan's absence in 94' gave Hakeem the confidence to bust out his full bag... By 96', Hakeem couldn't maintain the dominance at just 33 years old - part of that is he knows MJ is fully-back now.. He isn't the king lion anymore.. It's all part and parcel
