Good points.
Between that, what they can do to make it tough on Kyrie, and some of the incredibly weak lineups the Mavs are forced to throw out at times, it is going to be really tough.
Other side is that the Celtics likely won't shoot like that and Kyrie won't play that poorly.
Next game will be quite illuminating imo.

Lebron averaged 24 and 6 TO's for the first 4 games before Silver sabotaged the series, so no.... Kyrie would be down 1-3 with Lebron and need Silver to suspend Jaylen Brown to win, while also having Derrick White and Porzingas get injured.
Btw, Lebron and Ant were given a passes when they were 22-23 years old, yet that's the same age that KD...

you're saying Gobert provides 0 rim protection to a team that shot less 3 point shots than the Wolves

I think we would be surprised with the older teams. Look at how well Memphis played against the Warriors around that time, they almost had them and that team was built more like a team from the past.

I think you might be misunderstanding the dynamics involved. The reason Gobert and kat had to come over and guard Dončić was because there was nobody on the Timberwolves that could guard Dončić.
Primary difference here is that Jaylen Brown can guard Dončić so he does not need help defense from the bigs on the Celtics. That is why they can stay...

No dummy - just let the ball move to shift the defense so the defense gets tired and can't play as well on offense
But in order to move the ball, the star player cannot be dominating the ball (live-dribbling) because then the ball doesn't move and the defense gets to rest and be fresh for offense.
But in order for the star player to not...

That's why I stopped engaging you - you weren't into debating and only interested in appearing to "take me on"... It didn't matter that you were just trying to extend the interaction by any means necessary such as your clear troll post above and I had long won all the debates... That's why the thread died. It's because you lost about 100...

Well, this seems to be accurate. Considering how iggy started to effectively clamp down lebron in middle of the 2015 finals en route to becoming the fmvp.

It can work if the players are behind it, which it seems like they are in this case. Bron is going to be the actual HC anyway.

Havent watched the 2nd half yet. Aside from the 3 pt disparity i think a big key was Boston being able to limit the lobs to Gafford/Lively who combined for only 10 points. That is easy to say but not so easy to do. I am not sure what Boston was doing to accomplish this but if it continues it will make things really tough for Dallas.
Luka had...

Hard to say.
Some of the rules for an NBA technical (not sure what league this is from):
>A technical foul called for (1) delay of game, (2) coaches box violations, (3) defensive 3-seconds, (4) having a team total of less or more than five players when the ball becomes alive, (5) a player hanging on the basket ring or backboard, (6)...

Bob Myers in that link explains the risk in selecting an NCAA coach. This is an obsession by some people in the sports world and it rarely works. The idea that college coaches "actually coach" and league coaches are glorified babysitters. It happens when you have people who don't get it in the front office. No NBA coach at least in the last...
