I think Ant is getting completely carried right now by his team's defense and the fact that the T'Wolves are the only no-pressure team right now - every other team has massive pressure to win this year (Luka, Kyrie, Tatum)
Having zero pressure is a MASSIVE advantage

Yep. And McHale was better than Robert Horry so obviously that means Hakeem is better than Bird too.

Tough night for us too, a dozen more Ant threads on the horizon. But I'm glad OP gets to stew over this one for a while.

Anyone watching the Wolves- Nuggets series realizes that Jokic ran out of gas. I've said this before, there are great players in the league that do not put in the work in the gym and it costs them- Kevin Durant, Nowitzki. Curry fit this bill for many years but he bulked up and took his condition to the top. You need to set the standard for...

No he wouldn't you are overvaluing the **** out of circumstance. KG played like 3x as long on the Wolves and was a more impactful player. One ring isn't changing that.

If a guy beats the GOAT twice in the playoffs. He’s that guy.
Meanwhile MJ ducked Hakeem and Hakeem didnt have to beat MJ.
That automatically puts them below Jokic.

Yeah, forgot about that. That could be fair i guess. Regardless, hali must be having the last laugh now over his former peers back in sac now that he's in the middle of a deep playoff run.

Son probably horrifically loses arguments all the time, and the very next day, delusionally recalls that “no no no, I won that argument!” And wonders why niccas hate his a$$ everywhere he pokes his rat face in.

He's not a good defender, but he's not Kanter either so he still likely has more impact on that end than a point guard who's not stellar. I'd take Curry overall though because I don't think the defensive edge for Jokic is enough to make up the offensive gap. As good as Jokic is on offense, I've never seen anyone warp a game on offense like...

KG will still be a better player, as of right now, but Ant would be the greatest Wolf ever if he gets a ring this year.
KGs impact to this team goes so far beyond just how good he was as a player.

You'd really blame him for the first two times when he didn't have either two of his most important teammates in those playoff runs?

Forget the supporting casts.
Ima be respectful to JT and not ask you to pick between him and TJ McConnell.
But Tatum or Reese who ya got?
To me it’s pretty easy.
And it aint Tatum.

Stop pretending.. Gobert is the GOAT defender if we're going by DPOY's, while McDaniels is a budding star and guys like Mike Conley are rich man's Paxsons.. Meanwhile KAT outproduces Pippen quite easily (better stats) and led his team to a win over a top team with Ant wetting the bed - Pippen couldn't do that..
And KAT didn't need to win...

Gobert=Rodman is a reasonable take, but Kat being equal or greater to Pippen is insane. And I really like KAT.

Denver has regularly had a better defense with their center on the bench for most of his PS career. Pretty awful considering he's a center. Jokic's playmaking and offense is disgusting though, I don't know how many decades it will take to see another center do both at that level. :applause:

Ant got a 72--10 squad? What about one guy good enough to make both all nba and all defensive 1st team in the same season? I guess he has a guy similar to Rodmans impact with Gobert, where's his former 1st option that's the 5th best guy on his team? Or his European superstar that's his 6th man?

One of the things opposing fans casually disregard is that Indiana actually won the season series against the Bucks and Knicks so it would have been competitive even without the injuries.

The Wolves played good defense, yes. But he did not play good offense. The Nuggets were also turning the ball over like crazy in the first two games. Thats not good offense.
GOOD offense would by definition mean youre scoring. So by definition the Nuggets did not play good offense for numerous stretches.
You lose the argument logically but...
