You guys thought a ball-dominator was going to win the Finals!!!!
Haven't you been watching the last 21 years??.. ball-domination has the lowest winning frequency on the championship level.. For example, the Pistons were the worst team in the league this year but they still won 12 games, so ball-dominators like Lebron and Luka produce teams...

"Normally, that praise would be welcomed. In this case, it’s been criticized."
This one sentence from the article describes LeBron's entire career. If anybody else said what LeBron said it would either be ignored as just a meaningless comment that nobody talks about at all or simply acknowledged as a nice compliment regarding a former...

The Celtics likely just have too good of a team and matchup too well for Dallas to win this series with Porzingis playing.
Dallas deservers a lot of credit for the season they've had, but at one point they had a lineup of Kyrie / Hardy / Green / Maxi / Gafford on the floor. There is no world in which you can run out a lineup like that against a...

I sold him on everything because time showed that I was right on like 8 things so his previous 100 posts all agree with me - look it up - recently I was right on Ant cruisin for a bruisin and now Celtics in 5.. Time shows that ALL of my claims about ball movement > ball-domination are true
Lol you probably thought the Mavs were good lol.. ...

Horford also isn't completely useless on offense, and can do elementary things like shoot, dribble and even catch the ball.

Tatum, hi, congrats on the win. What are your thoughts on the Lakers preparing to make an offer to Dan Hurley?”

Against 39 year old Horford? Not so much. I actually trust current Horford over Toody on defense.

Yup.
He got in a rhythm at a couple points but ultimately was forced to try and do too much because nobody else got going. The TS% I dont fault him for, but those couple of strips they got on him just bringing the ball up the court shouldnt happen. Cant be that casual.
Overall, as you said, mediocre by his standards. Which they can sometimes...

Tatum does a lot of little things that don't get picked up on first watch. When you go back and watch the tape and see him get a contested traffic rebound, a deflection that otherwise would have resulted in an uncontested lay up or 3 pt shot, his elite close outs that would normally be a shot but aren't because he's getting there with great effort...

His TS was 53 tonight that's a pretty low efficiency. Four turnovers too. And 1 assist.....this was a mediocre game for Doncic.

Now put all the embarrassments and blowouts up there - they outnumber the few narrow wins by a wide margin... He was 1/4 with AD, Love and Wade except the Allen miracle, so he was mostly blown away, and of course his first Cleveland stint was marred with embarrassing loss after embarrassing loss, culminating in the 2010 meltdown that precipitated...

Funnily enough I think he sweet-talked his way to gettin the infamous Nuggets thread squashed.
I guess 6’8 Div 1 Boy can throw rimmers in more ways than one. Legend has it he’s still beating Richard Jefferson in make-it-take-it.

Thats exactly right.
The Celtics of all teams dont have an MVP. It’s a lineup full of all star caliber players with a couple perfect fitting role players sprinkled in off the bench, and thats why theyve steamrolled.
If they win the series the FMVP should just go to… the Boston Celtics.

come to think of it......
how do you give a guy $350 million contract when his knee is done at age 25.
Luka is going to be worst than Kawhi injury wise when he turns 27.

Yeah your statement made no sense and now you're just whining. They were the first seed (by 14 games). The first seed is supposed to stomp the 8th seed and then handle the 4/5 winner. In theory a healthy Bucks is tougher than the Pacers but in reality the Bucks were not at all impressive this season, getting their first coach fired and then...

There’s also going to be adjustments too, maybe the Mavs key in more on Brown, or on KP, and it changes the dynamic of who appears to be Celtics MVP. Derrick White very well could go off for the next few games. Tatum could too altho it looks like hes playing the facilitator more.
And hell Dallas might come back and win the series.
It’s just...

Tatum is "elite" at contributing in ways no one expected. He came into the NBA as a 2/3. And he could still do that but he just made 1st team AllNBA playing almost exclusively at the 4. A team playing Porzingis and Horford at center and starting a wing at pf should be terrible rebounding. Instead the Celtics are a good rebounding team and the...
