The Minnesota Timberwolves today announced they will be conducting auditions for the 2007-2008 Dunk Team on July 26th at Target Center. Auditions for the inaugural team are scheduled to start at 6 p.m. Applicants should enter through Target Center's main ticket lobby on 1st Avenue.

"This is the first time as an organization that we'll be introducing an official Timberwolves Dunk Team and we are looking for athletic and entertaining people during the auditions," said Timberwolves Vice President of Fan Relations/Game Operations Jeff Munneke. "Our goal is to continually strive to improve the overall entertainment experience for Timberwolves fans and we believe the Dunk Team will add another great in-arena element. Along with Crunch and our dance team, the Dunk Team's job is to make Target Center the loudest, most exciting building in the NBA."

The auditions, open to applicants 18 years or older, will include a physical workout and a detailed explanation of how to perform dunks off of a trampoline. Applicants should come to the auditions with athletic type shoes, workout clothes and details regarding your plans for the season (i.e. work or school schedule).
