Tim Duncan placed on Injured List

NBA BASKETBALL NEWS -- The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have placed forward Tim Duncan on the injured list with a grade II right ankle sprain. Duncan, who is expected to miss 2-4 weeks, has appeared in 62 games averaging 20.9 points, 11.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.68 blocks in 34 minutes per game this season.
At the same time the Spurs activated forward/center Sean Marks. Marks, who has appeared in 7 contests, is averaging 3.0 points and 1.0 rebounds in 7.7 minutes. He will be in uniform for tonight’s Spurs/Knicks game.
