Mark Cuban letting fans help design new Dallas Mavericks jersey
InsideHoops.com | May 13, 2013
Interesting to see that Mark Cuban will solicit ideas from fans to design the Mavericks' new uniform, which could debut in the 2015-16 season at the earliest.
Don't know how much, if anything, the Mavericks paid rapper Sean "P.Diddy" Combs back in 2003, but he was the last person to design a Maverick jersey and it'll be interesting to see how this new design, if Cuban picks one from the fans, compares to the old one.
It certainly will be at least as cost-efficient.
What's certain is that new jerseys almost always generate new revenue for NBA teams because fans always want to buy the new gear for their kids or themselves.
