Derrick Coleman goes to injured list
InsideHoops.com NBA News
Philadelphia 76ers President and General Manager Billy King announced today that the Sixers have placed forward Derrick Coleman on the injured list due to left knee tendinitis and have activated forward Amal McCaskill.
Playing in his 14th season in the NBA, Coleman has averaged 8.0 points and 5.6 rebounds, in 34 games (30 starts); he has missed 36 games this season due to injury. Since being activated from the injured list on March 12 after missing 22 games with a right fourth metacarpal fracture, Coleman averaged 4.3 points and 2.0 rebounds in 10.8 minutes per game as a reserve. The 6-foot-10 forward did not dress for the Sixers game at Miami on March 20, due to left knee tendinitis.
McCaskill has made 54 appearances (three starts) this season and is averaging 2.0 points and 2.3 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per game. He was placed on the injured list on March 12 and has missed five games (lower back strain).
