Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame Ballot

(Toronto, ON) - Canada Basketball and the Naismith Hall of Fame and Museum jointly announced today that 16 inductees will comprise the 2005 Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame ballot on which members of the Selection Committee will cast their votes this month. Results of the election will be announced in February.
New to the ballot in 2005 are Kelly Boucher (Athlete), Ray Jones (Builder), John Weiland (Official) and Bill Wennington (Athlete).
Any candidate(s) named on 70% of the ballots cast will earn election and will be honoured during an induction ceremony in May along with any veterans candidate(s) named by the Executive Committee.
Complete details regarding the date and location of the 2005 Canadian Basketball Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will also be announced in the coming weeks.
