The San Antonio Spurs today announced that they have placed guard Devin Brown on the injured list with a L4/L5 disc injury. Brown, who is expected to miss two-to-four weeks, has appeared in 67 games averaging 7.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 18.5 minutes per contest.

At the same time the Spurs activated forward Linton Johnson III. Johnson has been sidelined for the entire season with a left ankle stress fracture. The 6-8 forward, who signed with the Spurs as a free agent on 8/25/04, will be in uniform for tonight’s Spurs-Hawks game.
