Sunday on ABC: The Lakers face Sacramento for the fourth and final time of the season (3:30 p.m. EDT), to break the tie for second place in the Western Conference standings, with two games remaining for each team. If Los Angeles wins, to split the season series, the Kings own the tiebreaker based on their superior division record. Sacramento took the first two games of the series, defeating the Lakers, who were without Kobe Bryant, Karl Malone and Shaquille O'Neal at ARCO Arena on Jan.. 16, and again at the Staples Center on Feb. 26. With Bryant, O'Neal, Malone and Gary Payton together in the lineup for the first time against the Kings, the Lakers rebounded on March 24 to pick up a 115-91 home win. Bryant is averaging 35.5 points in two games against the Kings this season. Sacramento is 4-6 over the last 10 games, having lost control of home-court advantage throughout the Western Conference playoffs with its 94-86 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. In the first game on ABC, the Nets play host to Philadelphia (1 p..m. EDT). The Nets lead the season series 2-1; however the Sixers have recorded at least one win in New Jersey in every season since 1992-93. Sunday on NBA TV: Memphis travels to Phoenix (9 p.m. EDT). The home team has won all three meetings this season. The Grizzlies are one-half game behind Dallas for the fifth seed in the West.

Dallas and Seattle meet for the fourth and final time of the season and the second in five days. The Mavericks lead the season series 3-0 and are looking for their first season series sweep of the Sonics since the 1986-87 season. Dallas has scored 100 or more points in nine of the last 10 games against Seattle.

New York has won five straight games over Washington. The Knicks magic number to clinch the seventh seed is two games.

Detroit meets with the Orlando Magic for the second time in its last five games and holds a 2-1 series advantage. Larry Brown has won the most games ever as a first-year head coach of the Pistons, surpassing Rick Carlisle (50-32 in 2001-02) and Chuck Daly (49-33 in 1983-84).

Boston travels to Atlanta for its final back-to-back of the season. The Celtics have won four out of their last five against the Hawks.

Cleveland and Miami play the second game of a home-and-home set.

With 24 points on Friday, LeBron James became only the third rookie in NBA history to average over 20 points, five rebounds and five asssists. The others are Oscar Robertson (30.5 ppg, 10.1 rpg, 9.7 apg in 1960-61) and Michael Jordan (28.2 ppg, 6.5 rpg, 5.9 apg in 1984-85).

New Orleans leads the season series 2-1 over Milwaukee. Michael Redd has averaged 26.3 points and 7.7 rebounds and Joe Smith has averaged 9.7 points and 11.7 rebounds against the Hornets this season.
