Milwaukee Bucks sign Andre Barrett, Tommy Smith

The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Andre Barrett and Tommy Smith to free agent contracts, General Manager Larry Harris announced today. In accordance with club policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
A 5-10, 173-lbs. guard, Barrett played with the San Antonio Spurs summer league entry in the 2005 Rocky Mountain Revue. Last season as an NBA rookie, he played with the Houston Rockets and Orlando Magic, and combined to average 3.1 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 38 games.
Smith, a 6-10, 215-lbs. forward, played last season with the Yakima Sun Kings of the Continental Basketball Association and averaged 13.4 points and 6.0 rebounds in 14 games. Smith was originally selected by the Chicago Bulls in the second round (53rd overall) of the 2003 NBA Draft out of Arizona State University. In 2003, he averaged 7.5 points and 3.5 rebounds in four preseason games, but was waived by Chicago after spending the first 28 regular season games on the injured list.
